CSUN Men’s Volleyball Team to Celebrate Senior Night

    With 769 career kills, opposite Arvis Greene is 62 kills from entering the top-10 in CSUN rally scoring era. He is also 10th at 2.76 kills per set and is 224 attacks from cracking the top 10. Greene has been named Big West Player of the Week three times this season, including two consecutive weeks in March. Greene was also named AVCA Division I-II National Player of the Week after leading then-No. 10 CSUN to a pair of upset wins over No. 3 Hawai'i in March.

    Middle blocker Josiah Byers is currently second on the team in rally scoring and sixth all-time with 62 solo blocks, and with 300 total blocks ranks fifth in rally scoring and 11th all-time. He is just the fifth CSUN player in rally scoring with 300 blocks, is also just outside the all-time top-10 in block assists (238), but is tied for sixth in rally scoring.

    Eric Chance comes into the final week of the regular season with 298 career kills and 191 career blocks which fifth on CSUN’s Rally Scoring era list and is just four blocks from the Matador All-Time Top-10. Chance has surpassed his previous career-high for a single season with 72 total blocks. Chance had 67 as a sophomore in 2017 and 52 as a redshirt freshman in 2016. A career .415 hitter, he currently ranks seventh in CSUN hitting percentage for his career.

The California State University, Northridge men’s volleyball team will honor its seniors at their final home game in the Matadome.

The CSUN men’s volleyball Senior Night is Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m., when the No. 9 Matadors host UC San Diego in the final regular-season home match. CSUN seniors Josiah ByersArvis Greene and graduating redshirt junior Eric Chance will be honored.
