The weeks leading up to the beginning of the 2012-13 academic school year at California State University, Northridge were alive and buzzing with new students and new tenure-track faculty gearing up at their respective orientation meetings. This year approximately 48 new faculty members and 4,167 first-time freshmen began their CSUN careers.
