Fall semester is on the way with Saturday classes beginning Aug. 25 and weekday classes beginning Aug. 27.
Listed below are some important dates you will need to know for the upcoming semester:
Aug. 20: Fall 2018 financial aid balance checks will be mailed or deposited by eRefund starting Aug. 20 and weekly thereafter.
Aug. 27-Sept. 3: Wait listing classes continues through Labor Day. Permission is not required to add classes (except for restricted classes).
Sept. 1-3: Labor Day holiday weekend – campus closed; no classes in session.
Sept. 4-14: Permission is required to add ALL classes. Wait listing is not available.
Sept. 14: Last day to add with permission, drop, or change grading basis (CR/NC) using online, self-service registration. Changes can be made with the signature of the instructor and department chair through Sept. 21.
Oct 1: 2019-2020 Federal and California financial aid application period begins.
Nov. 11-12: Veterans Day holiday – campus closed; no classes in session.
Nov. 22-23: Thanksgiving holiday – campus closed; no classes in session. Classes will also not be in session Nov. 24 and 25.
Dec. 11: Last day of formal instruction.
Dec. 12-18: Final examinations.
Dec. 21: Instructors’ grades due.
Dec. 24: Last day of Fall 2018 semester.
