Denise Sandoval, professor of Chicana/o studies at California State University, Northridge, talks about lowriders and their impact on American culture. She recently curated an exhibition on lowrider culture, “The Politics of Low and Slow,” that is on display in CSUN’s University Library Exhibit Gallery through July 31, 2023. She is currently working with the Smithsonian on similar exhibition for that institution. The University Library sits in the heart of the CSUN campus, located at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.
