CSUN Campus Mourns Passing of Professor Greg Jackson
The California State University, Northridge campus is mourning the loss of Greg Jackson, a professor and coordinator of the Career Counseling Program in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. Jackson had been with CSUN since 1992. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22, at noon at Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills.
Jackson was valued by his colleagues for caring about students and their welfare, setting high standards for those he mentored in an effort to help them meet their own career goals and dreams, and supporting many on and off the campus community through his focus on the study of positive psychology and the emphasis he put on expressing gratitude as a means to healthy living.
A new scholarship will be created in his honor. To donate to the fund, please send a check made out to the “CSUN Foundation” with “Greg Jackson Scholarship” written in the notation section and mail it to the address below:
