CSUN faculty, staff and their families celebrated the end of another successful academic year on June 13 at the sixth annual Summer Celebration, held in the University Student Union’s Student Recreation Center.

About 1,400 people attended this year’s event, taking part in fun activities, food, dancing and prize drawings. CSUN President Dianne F. Harrison thanked the faculty for their contributions to students and campus, as well as the staff who organized the event. Toward the end of the evening, Harrison announced the winners of a raffle where the grand prize was two tickets to see Ringo Starr in concert.

Summer Celebration guests had the opportunity to climb up the SRC rock wall, get their faces painted, partake in Zumba with Matty the Matador and play bingo.
