Jéssica Retis-Rivas Named CSU International Program Director
Journalism faculty member Jéssica Retis has been named the resident director for the CSU International program in Madrid, Spain. The position will oversee students from all 23 CSU campuses during the 2014-2015 academic year.
“Spending a year in Spain will provide a great opportunity for Cal State students who are interested in learning or advancing their Spanish-language skills,” Retis said in a CSU release.
The CSU International Program offers eligible students the opportunity to study at one of 18 countries for a full academic year. In addition to the program in Spain, students can spend a year in Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Israel, Italy, Japan Korea, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the UK.
