NIH Supports Jessica Vey in ‘Antibiotic Biosynthesis’

Vey, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has received $145,000 from the National Institutes of Health in support of a project entitled “Engineering Isobutylamine N-hydroxylase for Applications in Antibiotic Biosynthesis.”
