The Matador women (16-14, 10-6 Big West), the defending Big West tournament champions, are the No. 4 seed in the Big West Women’s Basketball Tournament. They have a bye in the first round, and will play the highest remaining seed among the fifth-eighth seeds in the quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at UC Irvine’s Bren Center.

The tournament shifts to Honda Center in Anaheim on Friday, March 15, for the semifinals and finals. The women’s tournament final is 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The entire tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

The CSUN men (13-19, 7-9 Big West) are the No. 7 seed in the Big West Men’s Basketball Tournament and will take on UC Santa Barbara in the quarterfinals at noon Thursday, March 14, at Honda Center. ESPN3 will present all four quarterfinal games on Thursday. On Friday, March 15, ESPNU will air the first semifinal game on a delayed basis, available following the conclusion of the live second semifinal. ESPN3 will stream both semifinal games live.
