Cesar Chavez Service Fair Treats to Students to Great Food, Music and Opportunities

In honor of the of the late civil rights and labor leader, California State University, Northridge held the eighth annual Cesar Chavez Service Fair on March 30 at the Matador Bookstore lawn.

While attendees enjoyed food and mariachi music, they were also able to speak to about 30 nonprofit organizations, such as The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, Heal the Bay, Valley Presbyterian Hospital, Youth and Science Center and the American Red Cross about internships and volunteer opportunities open to the campus community.
