California State University, Northridge hosted another successful Matador Nights, the annual late-night party for all new and returning Matadors, on Friday, Sept. 4, at the University Student Union.

CSUN students celebrated the event with music by DJs Wax Motif and Reid Stefan. Many students gathered at the center of the USU, the Plaza del Sol, to dance all night long.

Following the night’s galactic theme, students enjoyed the galactic casino, a “Starcade” room and laser tag. A photo booth, caricature painters and glitter tattoo artists provided the students with take-home memories of the night. Many students also enjoyed tarot card readings, free rides, food and beverages.

The event was free and for CSUN students only. The University Student Union, part of the Division of Student Affairs, has sponsored Matador Nights for approximately eight years.
