Rock Stars Light Up VPAC for Copeland’s Ben-Hur
A constellation of stars filled the Valley Performing Arts Center’s sky for Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stewart Copeland’s performance of his score for the 1925 silent film classic Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. Copeland was accompaniedthe Pacific Symphony Orchestra, which was conducted by CSUN alumnus Richard Kaufman ’77 (Music). Among those in attendance for the concert were U2’s the Edge and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, a CSUN alumnus. Here are photos from the memorable evening.
