The mainland version of the annual EA Sports Maui Invitational coincides with the start of the CSUN men’s basketball 2014-15 season. The Matadors travel south to take on No. 16 San Diego State at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 to tip off the new campaign, and the opener will be broadcast on Fox Sports San Diego.

The competition remains tough as the Matadors then travel to the University of Arizona on Nov. 16 to take on the No. 2 Wildcats at 5 p.m., with the game broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.

After CSUN plays its home opener on Nov. 19 against Montana State, the Matadors travel to Arkansas to play the final two legs of the Maui Invitational. On Nov. 22, the Matadors take on Samford, and the following day they play the University of Arkansas at Little Rock or UMKC. Both games take place at 11 a.m. PST.
