Matadome To Hold Last Men’s and Women’s Basketball Games of Season

The CSUN men’s and women’s basketball teams will play their final home games of the season this week.

The women’s game against UC Davis will take place on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. There are two promotions in effect for this game. Anyone following the team on Instagram or Twitter (@CSUNWBB) then gets free admission to the game. Each follower receives up to two tickets to the game. This game is also part of the Faculty/Staff Series, and faculty and staff can come to this game for free by showing their CSUN ID. The women (11-17, 6-8 in the Big West Conference) are tied for sixth place in the conference.

The men’s basketball final game against the University of Hawaii will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. Fans can come early for the Fan Fest at 5:30 p.m., which will be held at the West Patio. The men (13-17, 8-6 Big West Conference) are currently tied for second place in the conference.

This will be the seniors’ last home games. The seniors are Mahamadou Kaba-Camara on the men’s team, and Hayley Tanabe, Lauren Shymkewicz, Eliza Matthews and De’Jionae Calloway on the women’s team.
