On April 1, the California State University, Northridge Department of Athletics presented the annual Varsity N Recognition Ceremony honoring CSUN scholar-athletes who achieved in the classroom as well as the field of play. On the evening, 81 student-athletes were recognized for outstanding academic achievements with a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the two most recently completed semesters while participating a season of varsity competition for CSUN.

CSUN Water Polo player Kiernan Davis was this year’s recipient of the Dick Enberg Post-Graduate Scholarship for Academic Excellence, which is presented to an outstanding CSUN student-athlete majoring in Psychology, journalism or cinema, television, arts (CTVA). Davis plans to use the scholarship to help her complete her master’s in public administration.
