Let it snow, let it snow! CSUN’s Associated Students held its annual Winter Fest in Matador Square, right next to the Farmers Market on Dec. 6. Students enjoyed free hot cocoa, a photo booth and craft stations — but the snow machine was what really pumped up the crowd for the holidays.

CSUN alumna and Assistant Community Director of Student Housing Amanda Cedeno said, “The snow machine was fun. It was nice to see everyone interact with the snow; it was flying everywhere so it gave us a little bit of a winter sneak peek in California.”

Winter Fest was a part of the Farmers Market that’s held every Tuesday. It includes a number of food stands, campus organization resources and different vendors that sell a variety of products, including fresh produce, crystals, crocheted goodies and charms for Crocs.
