Matadors showed up on campus for the first weekday of fall 2023 classes, ready to conquer a new academic year! Triple-digit heat greeted students, but luckily, so did the CSUN Navigators — faculty and staff volunteers who were ready with offers of cold water, directions to classes and smiles, too. This year, CSUN welcomes nearly 5,500 freshmen and more than 4,300 new transfer students to campus. It’s going to be a great semester, Matadors! Check out the first Monday of classes in photos.
