Welcome Week is back! From Jan. 23 – 27, CSUN students will see tables all around campus with free items, informational tabling on various campus departments and fun events. Associated Students (AS) hosts these events to kickstart school spirit.

AS Vice President Eden Shashoua coordinates this event hoping it will make students feel like valued members of a diverse and friendly community.

“To me, Welcome Week is an event that brings Matadors together and gets them excited about being a Matador,” Shashoua said. “After two years of online school, we want to make sure that our students feel included, heard, and excited about our campus, and starting the semester off with a big, warm welcome to everyone is an awesome way to help achieve that.”

This is the third time AS has hosted this back to school celebration. Due to its success and positive impact on the CSUN community, the student government organization has decided to continue it every fall and spring semester.
