The University Student Union put some spring in the step of CSUN students, staff, faculty and community members at Spring Fest 2020, with free food and fun activities and entertainment on Jan. 23.

A live set from DJ Complex Lex provided upbeat background music as Matadors enjoyed caricature portraits, henna tattoos, a photo booth and party games like musical chairs and limbo. The lucky first 150 Spring Fest attendees to arrive even got to enjoy a refreshing treat from Happy Ice.

For three jam-packed hours, the Plaza del Sol in the USU became a place for relaxation as students tackled their first week of class after winter break.
