Diana Krall performed selections from her most recent album, “Glad Rag Doll,” April 4 at the Valley Performing Arts Center at California State University, Northridge. Krall delivered an intimate performance to a crowd of 1,655 people at her VPAC debut. Her performance was filled with humor and a sense of tenderness. The stage was arranged to emulate a 1930s jazz club, to complement her style. Krall was accompanied by her equally impressive five-member band.
