Three Matador Men Soccer Players Named To All-Far West Region team
California State University, Northridge’s 2013 men’s soccer team’s strong season was recognized when three team members — Sagi Lev-Ari, Beto Velasquez and Trevor Morley — each picked up a spot on the NSCAA’s All-Far West Region teams.
Lev-Ari was named to the All-Far West Region First Team in 2013 after earning a place on the Second Team a season ago. He is also currently in the running for the 2013 Men’s MAC Hermann Trophy, which is is awarded annually by the Missouri Athletic Club to the United States’s top male and female college soccer players.
Velasquez was named to the All-Far West Region Second Team after compiling five goals, nine assists and 19 points this year. He led the Big West Conference in assists and earned a spot on the All-Big West First Team. Morley was chosen to the All-Far West Region Third Team and was an All-Big West First Team honoree this year.
