Matadors interested in ditching frequent visits to the gas pump and switching to electric had a chance to take some test drives on campus this month. Porsche models and three-wheeled ElectraMeccanica vehicles were available for a spin on campus at the Institute for Sustainability’s Campus EV Car Show on April 7. Drivers could also check out a Chargie unit, the EV charging system available in campus parking lots. The Institute for Sustainability hosted the test-drive event, as well as a panel discussion about the future of electric vehicles. Check out some event highlights, in photos.
