Important Dates for Spring 2021

The beginning of the spring semester is just around the corner. Weekday classes begin Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. Saturday and Sunday classes begin Jan. 30 and Jan. 31.

Here are some important dates you’ll need to know to stay on top of your online learning this semester:

Jan. 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday — campus closed.

Jan. 24: Last day for nonrestrictive registration. Last day to qualify for a full refund (minus a $10 fee), for those dropping all classes.

Jan. 25: Late registration and schedule adjustment (add, drop and swapping classes) begin.

Jan. 25-31: Wait-listing continues through Sunday, Jan. 31. No permission is required to add classes (except for restricted classes).

Feb. 1-19: Permission is required to add all classes. Wait-listing is no longer available. Enrollments recorded by Feb. 19 are considered official.

Feb. 19: Last day of late registration. Last day to drop classes or change grading basis using self-service. Access to self-service registration ends except for adding with instructor permission. Learn more at Late Schedule Changes.

Feb. 24: Spring 2021 refunds are mailed or deposited via eRefund, starting today. Allow four to six weeks for processing.

March 5: Last day to apply for graduation, to participate in the 2021 virtual Commencement Ceremony and have your name published in the program.

March 31: Cesar Chavez Day holiday — campus closed; no classes in session.

May 8-9: Last weekend classes.

May 14: Last day of formal instruction.

May 15-21: Final exams.

May 21-24: Commencements.

May 26: Last day of the 2020-2021 academic year.

May 31: Memorial Day holiday — campus closed.

July 30: Last day to submit documents for spring 2021 graduation.
