Famed queer influencer Kenneth Senegal, founder of the YouTube channel HeFlawless, was on campus Feb. 25 to help attendees boost their self-esteem by offering makeup tips.

The event was part of a weeklong series of activities Feb. 24-27 for Black Queer and Trans Week, celebrating the intersections of blackness, queerness and trans identities.

The events were a collaboration between CSUN’s Black House, the Women Inspired to Succeed and Discover Opportunities Through Mentoring (WISDOM) program and the Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU).

Other workshops and activities dedicated included “Queer, Trans, People of Color Conversations — Honoring Black Queer and Trans Legacies,” “Black Queer and Trans Healing Through Art with [therapist] Gina Guerrero” and “Craftin’ at the Dinner Table.”
