The search for the next CSUN president kicked off Feb. 3, as an open forum provided campus and community members the opportunity to share feedback on the qualities they believe the university’s next leader will need to be successful.

The search committee seeks and welcomes input, which can be emailed to presidentsearch@calstate.edu.

Chaired by CSU trustee Debra Farrar, the search committee is comprised of CSUN faculty, staff, students and alumni representatives, as well as community members and trustees and administrators from the CSU.

Candidate interviews are expected to take place in the spring, with the appointment made at the May CSU Board of Trustees meeting.
