Matador-branded items are available at the Matador Holiday Kiosk at the Northridge Fashion Center through Dec. 31.

Looking for a great gift for your favorite California State University, Northridge alumni, or current or future CSUN students? The University Corporation has expanded your gift selection options by opening the Matador Holiday Kiosk at the Northridge Fashion Center.

For the first time ever, shoppers can pick up Matador gear at the mall now through Dec. 31. Items ranging from sweatshirts and T-shirts to license plates and Christmas ornaments will be easily accessed at the kiosk on the lower-level next to Santa Claus near JCPenney’s.

“We wanted to have presence in the local mall to show that we are a community member and (to) encourage a heightened awareness of CSUN in the local community,” said Nicole Celentano, sales and marketing administrator with the University Corporation.

Rick Evans, executive director of the University Corporation, said the idea for the kiosk was first recommended in 2010. He said the holiday kiosk is a pilot to determine the interest and demand for placing CSUN merchandise in local retail stores.

The Matador Holiday Kiosk is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays at the Northridge Fashion Center, 9301 Tampa Ave., Northridge.
