The Giving Trees: Volunteers Harvest Fruit from CSUN Orange Grove
In what’s billed as the “biggest orange harvest in Los Angeles,” volunteers this past weekend harvested oranges from California State University, Northridge’s Orange Grove to help fight hunger in the community. CSUN Institute for Sustainability and Food Forward collected dozens of boxes of oranges to donate to local hunger relief organizations, including CSUN’s own Food Pantry.
