CSUN was recognized as one of the 2021 Top Adult Degree Programs by Abound, a college guidance initiative dedicated to helping students, ages 24 and older, find the best place to earn an undergraduate degree, nursing degree, MBA or other graduate degree.

The university was selected for the honor based on Abound’s rigorous review of factors that address the essential needs of the non-traditional student. These include:

· Accessibility: schools that offer courses in the evening, weekends or online so students may fit their education around other commitments, such as family and work.

· Affordability: schools committed to making their degrees affordable through financial aid, reduced tuition, scholarships or grants.

· Acceleration: schools that offer adult students a direct path to their degree in the most timely and cost-effective way.

· Advancement: schools that exhibit an active interest in students’ long-term success beyond the standard career services offered during students’ enrollment.

Abound is an initiative of Colleges of Distinction, a resource developed more than 20 years ago to help students ages 18-21 choose their best-fit college. It was established to connect the growing number of older, non-traditional students to the right college by helping them find the best place to learn, grow and succeed.
