CSUN Ranks High With Hispanic Students
Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education released its list of the top schools for Hispanic students, and CSUN came in the top 10 out of 100. In its May 7 issue, “Top 100 Colleges for Hispanics,” the magazine ranked schools based on degrees awarded students. CSUN was award seventh in Hispanic students receiving undergraduate degrees and ninth in students receiving their master’s degrees.
“California State University, Northridge’s latest rankings in the top 10 universities in the nation for Hispanics shows that our long-term commitment to diversity and serving traditionally under-represented students has been successful,” said Interim President Harry Hellenbrand. “As a leading Hispanic-serving institution, these are goals we will continue to seek to improve.”
