CSUN ranks No. 6 among the “most transformative colleges” in the nation, according to Money Magazine — meaning that students who attend CSUN often exceed expectations placed on them due to their academic and economic backgrounds. The university climbed from No. 7 last year on the magazine’s list. In a list of 50 transformative schools, the magazine’s website, Money.com, noted factors such as graduation rates, earnings and student loan repayment when ranking schools.

CSUN also ranks No. 29 in Money Magazine’s list of the best public colleges in America for its overall value, and is one of 13 CSU schools to make it into the Top 50. CSUN’s David Nazarian College of Business and Economics also ranked No. 31 on the magazine’s list of best colleges for business majors.
